EyeTribeでさっそく遊んでみました

EyeTribeがやっと届いたので遊んでみました。

EyeTribeは1万円程度で入手可能な視線検出デバイスです。

デモを遊んでみた限りだと値段の割にしっかりと検出できていると思います。

しかし、キャリブレーションには慣れが必要なのと何よりWindows上でしか動作しないというのが不便すぎます。

公式サイトで以下のような記述を見つけました。

The first version being shipped is for Windows, but we expect to make OS X version available in April 2014. The hardware is the same for these two versions of the software, so you can go ahead and order the device today even though you are interested in the OS X version, and want to make sure you have the device when the software is released.

We expect to provide software updates for all other major platforms in the near future, but for some platforms you might need a different piece of hardware. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for future announcements.
